If you are lucky enough to reside in beautiful Cheltenham and be loved up, then you’ve already got everything you need, right?
Still, there’s nothing like an excuse to celebrate and there’s no place to do it like Cheltenham. There is plenty of choice for where to go for Valentine’s Day in Cheltenham in 2022. So, we’ve done some digging and brought you some highlights.
This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday, which isn’t ideal but we’re not letting that put us off. As long as love is in the air any time you decide to celebrate is fine. Just make sure you book because after two years of lockdowns we suspect this year’s Valentine’s celebrations will be big.
Dine at The Cosy Club For Valentine’s Day In Cheltenham
Cosy Club is the perfect name for this restaurant. Managing to be both cool and elegant as well as cosy, the restaurant is located on the High Street in the Brewery Quarter. For Valentine’s Day, The Cosy Club is up offering small plates and a glass of Prosecco from just £20 and is open from lunchtime until late on the 13th and 14th of February.
The atmosphere here is great with low lighting, quirky decor and great views over the High Street. An ideal setting for a couple to share small plates and a glass of bubbles in Cheltenham.
Valentine’s Afternoon Tea (and maybe spa day too) at Ellenborough Park
Venture a short drive from the town centre to the stunning country estate, Ellenborough Park, for an unforgettable Valentine’s Day. Of course, the dinner menu is highly impressive but, since Valentine’s Day is on a Monday why not celebrate this year with a beautiful and delicious Afternoon Tea?
Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea experience with sandwiches, scones and cakes. We’ll leave it up to you to choose whether to stick with the tea or upgrade to bubbles. The presentation is delightful and tea is taken in their very elegant lounge.
If you’re going all out this Valentine’s Day, why not treat yourselves to a half-day pass at their Indian-inspired Spa which includes a 25-minute treatment and access to their sauna, pool, steam room, jacuzzi, gym and relaxation room? We’re feeling all calm and tranquil just imagining it!
Country Pub Valentine’s Day Dinner At Tivoli
Enjoy a three-course dinner for two at Tivoli for just £15.99 per person including a glass of fizz when you pre-book. The romance-inspired menu is simple for a perfect down-to-earth good country pub cosy-up Valentine’s Day. One advantage of a set price menu is you each get your own dessert – none of this romantic sharing nonsense. When there’s crumble and chocolate fudge cake on the menu (and there is) we say, share the love – not the dessert.
Italian Romance On Valentine’s Day At Gianni’s In Cheltenham

There are some very enticing courses on this menu with a great mix of seafood, meat and vegetarian options with everything freshly prepared and authentically Italian. Gianni’s is known both for its excellent food and its friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Please note, the restaurant is closed on Sundays so you’ll be wanting an evening meal on Valentine’s Day, Monday.
