Start by scraping 

Before you try to remove chocolate stains from fabric, it’s important to get rid of as much excess as possible. Use a dull knife to scrape the surface gently and dislodge any loose chocolate debris. This will help minimise the mark and avoid a messy cleanup job.  

Use cold water 

Hot water will help the chocolate set in. So, we recommend using cold water throughout the stain-removal process.  

Pre-treat with stain remover

Ideally, soak the entire section in cold water or soda water to loosen the chocolate particles before cleaning. 

Never let it dry 

To remove chocolate stains effectively, you need to prevent the chocolate from hardening. As such, try not to let the material dry until you’ve got as much of it out as possible. Don’t use a tumble dryer or hair dryer to extract moisture from the area until you’re happy that the chocolate has been fully washed out.
