Haus Maids — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16th July 2026

Part A — This website (Haus Maids Franchising Ltd)

1. Who we are

This part of the policy explains how Haus Maids Franchising Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal data through this website.

  • Company: Haus Maids Franchising Ltd,
  • Company number: 11056919
  • Registered address: Rangefield Court, Farnham Trading Estate, Farnham, GU9 9NP
  • ICO registration number: ZC199932
  • Data protection contact: franchise@hausmaids.co.uk

We are a franchisor. We run this website and the Haus Maids brand; we do not provide cleaning services ourselves. Cleaning is provided by independent local franchisees, each a separate company with its own policy, listed on its local office page.

2. What we do with your enquiry

When you complete an enquiry form on this website:

  • we send your details to the local franchisee for the area you’re in, so they can contact you about your cleaning service; and
  • we keep a copy of the enquiry on the website’s back end.

Once your details reach the local franchisee, they become responsible for your information as an independent controller and their own privacy information (each listed on its local office page.) applies to what happens next.

If you contact a local office by phone instead, your details go straight to that franchisee and do not pass through us at all.

3. The information we handle

  • Enquiry details you give us: your name, contact details, address/postcode, and anything you tell us about your home in the enquiry form.
  • Information collected automatically: technical data such as your IP address and how you use the site, through cookies and similar technologies (see our separate [Cookie Policy] and section 7).
  • If you enquire about becoming a franchisee: we also handle information about your background, finances and experience, to deal with your enquiry.

4. Why we handle it, and our legal basis

What for Legal basis

5. How long we keep website enquiries

We keep the copy of your website enquiry in a form that identifies you for 24 months from your last contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We may keep anonymised, aggregated statistics (which do not identify you) for longer to understand and improve our website and marketing. If you become a customer of a franchisee, that franchisee keeps your data under Part B. Each listed on its local office page.

6. Who we share it with

  • The relevant local franchisee (as above).
  • Our service providers (website hosting, email, analytics, marketing tools), under contract and only on our instructions.
  • Our professional advisers, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Authorities, regulators or courts, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not operate a central customer database of franchisees’ customers.

7. Cookies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Analytics and functionality cookies we use only to run and improve our own site are provided with clear information and a simple way to opt out. Advertising and tracking cookies (for example for Google or Meta advertising) are only used with your consent, which you can give, refuse or change through our cookie banner. Full details are in our separate [Cookie Policy].
